"It?s hard to lose someone who has been a large part of your life as Alice was to me as well as her immediate family. Alice and George were very close to my wife Sandy and I. Sandy and I lived above them in the same house when Sandy and I were first married. We shared many trips, events, outings, happiness and sorrow together as couples. Even though Sandy and I spent much of our lives away from Michigan, we always were in touch with Alice. That makes it even harder that we can?t all be together to say good-bye. Even though I can?t be there for Alice?s service, I just want you to know how sorry I am that she is no longer with us and that I feel for all of you who were close to her also. I wish I could be there but I will need to be satisfied to honor her in my own way. This spring I will plant a palm tree in my yard in her remembrance. Alice was a good friend and I loved her, too. "

Alice Mae Toger passed away February 1, 2023 in Clinton Township, Michigan at age 82. Born on March 18, 1940 to Neal Merrion and his wife Lilly Etta Wagner in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Alice married George Robert Toger on August 27, 1960 and they began a family that grew to include 3 generations. In spare time Alice loved to read and more recently took up the hobby of coloring.
She is survived by 1 of 4 children; Laura Altobelli, 2 grandchildren; Nina and Alicia and her great granddaughter Hai'lee. She was preceded in death by her husband George in 1994, 2 daughters; Kelly and Dana, her son Robert and her grandson Kyle.
