Patricia Ann Koeppel
January 24, 1968 - March 5, 2023

Patricia Ann Koeppel, Age 55, of Phlox, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, March 5, 2023. Patty (Dolezal) Koeppel was born January 24, 1968, the daughter of Rose (Igl) Dolezal Galuska and the late Anthony Dolezal.

She graduated from Antigo High School in 1987 and from IBA College of Cosmetology in Green Bay shortly thereafter. She was employed at Trio Hair Studio in Antigo for a short time. Patty married Martin P. Koeppel on October 29, 1988 at St. John's Catholic Church in Antigo.

She immersed herself in her family by helping her husband on the farm while nurturing their five children. Patty later worked at Sheldons' Inc. and Schroeder's Potatoes.

She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Holy Family Church in Phlox and joyfully embraced the role of Religious Education Coordinator. She taught Religious Education classes for several years; her passion was to share the love of Christ with her students. She was also involved in 4-H with her children.

Everybody loved Patty, and her devotion to people was marked by peace, patience, and acceptance. She lived by the Golden Rule, humbly viewing others through the lens of compassion and care. Always listening and encouraging, Patty selflessly donated her time and energy to the well-being of others. She enjoyed hosting extended family for annual hayrides, playing cards, walking with her dog, Sadie, and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Patty is survived by her husband, Marty; her sons, Justin (Kerri), Kurtis, Felix, and Jonah (Mariya Anderson); her daughter, Jessica (Ethan Casarez); her grandchildren, Lorelei and Atticus Koeppel; her mother, Rose (Ray) Galuska; her brothers, Dan (Lori), Mike (Ann), and Joe Dolezal; and her sister, Kathy (Rick) Parilek.

Patty was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Dolezal; her father and mother-in-law, Martin and Rosemary Koeppel; her grandson, Julius Koeppel; her sister-in-law, Kim Dolezal.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 11, at 12 p.m. at St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church in Phlox with Reverend Vicente Llagas officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass.

The burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be directed to the family.
