Lorraine Ida Wilson
November 24, 1929 - March 20, 2023

Lorraine Ida Wilson, age 93, of Antigo, died on March 20, 2023, at Rosalia Gardens Assisted Living. She was born on November 24, 1929, in the town of Norwood, a daughter of the late Ralph and Mae (Guenthner) Hitt. She married Keith Wilson on September 4, 1954, at Sanborn Lutheran Church in the town of Norwood. Keith preceded her in death on October 24, 2021.

Lorraine was a 1946 graduate of Antigo High School. She was employed at the National Tea Company, A & P Store, Hunter's Supermarket, and Lakeside Grocery.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mattoon, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and taught Sunday School. She was a Strassburg Ever Ready 4-H Club leader and member of the town of Rolling Homemakers Club.

Lorraine enjoyed gardening, playing Scrabble, listening and dancing to Polka, Green Bay Packers football, and cutting wood with her husband.

Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Lou Wilson (friend Mike Leitterman) of Antigo, and Polly (Patrick) Sharpe of Waunakee; two sons, David (Pam) Wilson of Antigo and Todd Wilson of Antigo; eight grandchildren, Nicholas (Joan) Welch, Heidi (Dustin) Kraege, Benjamin (Jennifer) Welch, Craig Welch, Simon (Tara) Welch, Michaela Wilson, Lily Sharpe, and Anna Sharpe; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Phyllis Rasmussen, Vivian Rasmussen and infant sister, Betty; and a brother, Kenneth Hitt.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 31, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Pockat officiating. The burial will take place in Elmhurst Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
