Alice L. Panka
August 20, 1924 - April 1, 2023

Alice L. Panka, of Antigo, died on April 1, 2023 under the care of her family and Compassus Hospice in Elcho. She was 98 years old. She was born on August 20, 1924 in Kenosha, a daughter of George and Linda (Baneck) Hall. She married Emil Panka on May 27, 1944. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2008.

She was a bookkeeper for Emil's Radiator Service in Hialeah, Florida. Alice spent many years living in Florida until permanently moving to Antigo in 2007. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, dogs, and swimming in the Gulf of Mexico.

Survivors include a grandson, Al (Amy) Arnold of Elcho; two granddaughters, Janet (Derik) Day and Stephanie Trivino both of Georgia; step-grandchildren, Melanie, Michael, Kim, and Sherri; seven great-grandchildren, Cody Arnold, Davis and Brody Day, Andrea Hipwell, Haley Derickson, Brandon (Kandise) Derickson, and Tony Derickson; and five great-great-grandchildren, Addison, Elena, Aurora, Alexandria and Zoey.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Arnold; son, Steve (Janet) Panka; and great-grandson, Riley Day.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jedras officiating. Burial will take place in Sunset Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha at a later date. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
