Marian Koss
March 14, 1931 - April 10, 2023

Marian Koss, of Deerbrook, died on April 10, 2023 at The Bay at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was 92 years old. She was born on March 14, 1931 in Antigo, a daughter of Peter and Marie (Kremer) Walters. She married Vernon Koss on July 18, 1959 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2011.

Marian was devoted to her faith and church, a member of St. Wencel Catholic Parish and the Rosary Society.

She was passionate about farming, gardening, and family. Marian and Vernon farmed in the town of Neva for over 30 years.

Marian enjoyed listening to Molly B. and the Milwaukee Brewers. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her fabulous cooking.

Survivors include a daughter, Jeanne Koss of Kenosha; two sons, Tony (special friend Cindy Kuhls) Koss of Deerbrook and Pete (Denice) Koss of Green Bay; a son-in-law, Keith Michels of Bryant; three grandchildren, Abby, Morgan, and Matthew; and two brothers-in-law, Steve Koss, and Tony (Doris) Koss.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marian was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Michels; three brothers and their wives, Marvin (Jane), Mel (Elaine), and Donald (Ann).

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 15 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Wencel Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in St. Wencel Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a parish wake service at 6:30 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
