You were a valued customer at HyVee mainstreet pharmacy, you were always kind , i remember you coming in one time for one of your grandkids, you asked me if we happened to have baby nose suckers that you put your mouth on? he said he didn?t understand but that?s what he needed, The day of his passing my son messaged me and told me his boss died, he told me his name and I was so shocked, my son just bought a house down the street from both of his bosses. . MUSCATINE, Iowa - Michael Duane Hartman, 67, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023, at his home.
Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Island Cemetery. Reverend Susan Bantz will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for the family in care of Craig. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Michael was born on March 3, 1956, in Waterloo, the son of Duane and Velma Schultz Hartman.
Michael enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing, mushroom hunting, and being on the water. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his sons, Craig Hartman and wife, Ciarra, and Brian Hartman; grandchildren, Colton Hartman, Connor Hartman, and Knox Hartman; brother, Dave and wife, Krista; nephews, Trevin Hartman, and Jason Hartman and wife, Kayley; great nephews, Sawyer, Sutton, and Wells.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Mark Hartman.
