Stacia Mary Van Heuklon
May 10, 1960 - May 9, 2023

Stacia Mary Van Heuklon, 62, of Rochester, Minnesota passed away on May 9, 2023 at her home, surrounded by family.

Stacia Mary (DeMass) Van Heuklon was born on May 10, 1960, to Robert and Felicia DeMass in Gary, Indiana. Stacia graduated from Andrean High School and went on to attend Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she achieved her Bachelor of Arts degree. She married Jeff Van Heuklon on June 4, 1982, and together they moved to Rochester.

Stacia was a faithful member of the Pax Christi Catholic Church and active at St. Pius Elementary School while her children attended. She enjoyed investing in the stock market and playing volleyball. She also enjoyed driving her red Porsche convertible and attending concerts with her husband Jeff (Grateful Dead, being the first). She was very close to her family and especially liked spending time with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Nene". She was an avid football fan, and loved the Chicago Bears and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Van Heuklon; her children, Aaron (Brie) Van Heuklon, Meghan (Erich) Fisher, Lauren (Justin) Welsh, and Andrew (Mikayla) Van Heuklon; mother, Felicia DeMass; brothers, Tom (Margaret) DeMass and Jim (Alisa) DeMass; sisters, Regina (Mike) Ricker and Simone DeMass; and ten grandchildren, Ella, Avery, Ryan, Leo, Norah, Jake, Henry, Collin, Camden, and Paige.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert DeMass.

A private family funeral was held.
