Ciris Martel Rios of Rochester, Minnesota passed away on May 14, 2023.

Ciris was born on February 13, 2022 to Elizabeth Sanchez and Travis Rios in Rochester, Minnesota. He was a fighter from day one, being born four months prematurely. Ciris lifted so many spirits in every room he was in and was a pure joy to his family and loving sister. His smile and laugh were contagious. He is loved by so many people. We will cherish our precious time with him dearly.

Ciris is survived by his mother Elizabeth Sanchez, father Travis Rios, sister Kataleya Sanchez; grandfathers Saul Sanchez and Derrick Watts; grandmother Dianna Sanchez; uncles Emmanuel Rios, Saul Sanchez, Matthew Sanchez and James Sanchez; aunts Yanett Sanchez, Bianca Robins, Lydia Amberg, Amy McAndrew, Cassie Fenstra; great aunts Angie Sanchez, Teresa Sanchez, Jackie Young, Carla Burnett and Audrey Robins; great uncles David Sanchez, Jesse Padilla, Jose Luis Sanchez, Eduardo Sanchez, Salvador Sanchez and many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Eloise Robins.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Pl NW, Rochester with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester.
