"I am so sorry that Jason has died. I grieve with you, John and Judi, because losing one's child has to be so difficult. I remember Jason as a young athlete from elementary school. He was so competitive, so focused, and so disciplined as he responded to coaches when he competed as a sixth grader. As he grew older, I watched him grow in church through his high school years. He was an amazing young man, though I only watched from a distance because I was dealing with younger kids. John and Judi, I hope you have so many great memories of him and his activities, and I wish the best for his daughters and their families. What a loss to our world!"

"John, Judy and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Having lost my own son, Tony, who also was a good friend of Jason"s, I can identify with your pain. I always loved Jason for being the friend that he was and how friendly he was to me when we worked in the same area at Kent Feeds and when I last saw him at A Guy and a Grill.several months ago, I was so delighted to see him as it had been many years but he was the same delightful person he always was! Rest in Peace Jason and say HI to Tony for me. Heaven is a much brighter place with you there! Prayers, Grace Steckman"

"I?m so very sorry to hear of your loss (and all of our loss). Jason was a wonderful teammate at MHS and at Iowa - not only a great player (his swing made the most amazing whooshing sound I?ve ever heard) but also a great encourager and always fun to be around. It?s hard to believe I won?t run into him around Muscatine. He?d always greet me with a huge grin and we?d chuckle over some memories. He?d also beam when he talked about his girls. Wow he?ll be missed. Praying for the peace of Christ for all of his family. "
