Ronald G. Erfer
February 14, 1954 - May 22, 2023

Ronald G. Erfer, on May 22, 2023, of Clarksboro; formerly of Cherry Hill. Age 69. Beloved husband of the late Lisa Erfer (nee Shields). Devoted stepfather of Erin Ciconte Warner (Adam). Dear nephew of Frances Isaacson (the late Bayne) and brother of Carol Shapiro (Barry). Ron is survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.

Born to Harold and Shirley Erfer (nee Meyerowitz), Ron spent his earliest years in Camden, grew up in Cherry Hill and graduated from Cherry Hill East. He studied psychology at Temple University and established a long and successful career as a computer programmer. Ron's work with companies like DuPont, Pillsbury, and Campbell's provided opportunities to travel and he made many wonderful and enduring friendships along the way.

Ron's unassuming and supportive nature was a gift to family, friends, and strangers alike - his kindness and compassion never wavered. Ron was a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and loved watching and going to games with family and friends. He enjoyed time at the shore and was an avid reader, crossword enthusiast, and fan of all things quirky in art, movies, and music.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9am to 11am on Friday, May 26, 2023 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service 11am at the funeral home. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron's memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), PO Box 37920, Boone IA 50037-0920 (https://www.jdrf.org).

"To Ron family and friends I am sorry to just learn of the passing of Ron. we work together for many years and periodically stayed in touch. He was an awesome coworker, and friend.
