MaryAnn E. Peterson, age 58, of Rochester, MN passed away May 24, 2023 at St. Mary's Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

MaryAnn Elizabeth Peterson was born August 14, 1964 to Roger and Marjorie (Post) Stevens. MaryAnn grew up in Bryon Minnesota and attended the local high school where she graduated in 1982. She loved to play sports such as basketball, cross country, and track and field. From there she met and fell in love with Steven Peterson while working as a server at Embers in Rochester. They married on June 15th, 1985. She and Steven had a son Andrew in 1989, followed by a daughter Katy in 1991. She spent many years in the waitressing business at Embers, Newt's and Brothers Bar and Grill in Rochester. She loved her job and her regulars loved her as well and she made many friendships over the years.

Rock music was her passion. She listened to it every day. She enjoyed playing horseshoes with her husband, listening to her son play guitar, tending her garden, and watching her family grow up. She is very loved and will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Steven; her children, Andrew and Katy Jo; father, Roger Stevens; sisters, Tracy and Jonie.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Stevens and infant son, Adam.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN. Visitation will be held 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Oronoco Cemetery.
