"Kurt was unzealous and kind to a fault. He would give you the shirt off his back. He sang great backup whenever I played guitar at parties. The most funny memorable thing was 4thbof July circa 1999 at Boca Ciega Bay Sand Key. Tricia and I bellied up and dropped anchor before noon with Kurt and our friends Gary and Shawnie. We drank a lot of suds and had the red white and blue punch which was hit. Hundreds of boat and upls planted in the middle of it all. Getting up early has it's rewards. So around 5 pm this Beautify decorated new Boston Whaler center console plus up two boat down with a load of young bikini cladwomenandtwo17 year old boys driving the boat as it bellied up to the key. The was bitts hanging off the aft , port as starboard sides all the way around but no on in the bow. Suddenly the 1st mate jumps in the bow and pulls out a 3' x 6' sack full of expensive fireworks and grabs a Roman Candle vand standingabovethe sacklaying in the bow stands over the sack like the Statueif Liberty and lights the candle shooting colored balls of flame into the afternoon sky above the boats in the key. Kurt being the safety expert he was from construction experience wats to us that boa lt ishliw up if he don't hetthatcanleiutta the bow. Just then ahot dischargefrim the candle drops into the cache' of the fireworks and the whole magazine lights if. Immediately the captain (17 year old son of wlBostob Whaler's dad) starts freaking out and every chickadee sitting around thesidesoftheboat evacuate diving into the water fire everywhere and me and Kurt are relying laughing on the ground. The boat was jell-ciat putty in a matter of minutes. It was ruins but not sunk. We couldn't stop laughing as did everyone else. Drunk and 17 is no place forfirework and boating. We had a blast that day. KurtI will see you again out there in the wide expanse of the universe and the spirits shall meet again. Love you, Kurt."

"When Kurt was around 11 and Erik 10, or so. I asked them what they want to be when they grow up. Erik said ?a fireman? and Kurt said ?I want to be a big lunch lady that yells at kids and hits their hands with a spatula if they take too much food!? Typical Kurt, he was so funny ? "

"Kurt has a heart of gold. When he was around 6 I gave him money to buy an ice cream cone. It was a hot winter day before Christmas in Florida. We walked by the Santa ringing the bell for the Salvation Army. He asked what this was for and I explained it to him. He said ?oh that is nice? and he put his ice cream money in the collection pot. He got great joy out of helping others. I will never forget his kind spirit. Love you so much Kurt. You are forever in my heart."

"I met this young man a few months back? I am a 60 year old female that was stuck at a gas station with a flat tire after hours not knowing what to do and not knowing how to change a tire this gentleman came out of nowhere and completely saved me
he had my tire changed within 5 minutes ? He refused the money I offered for his help?he said I could only hope someone would be there to help my mom if she needed it?
He won?t be resting in peace
God is going to keep this angel very very busy ?
My deepest condolences "
