"Rodney lived across the road from our family home. I come up on the weekends to do yard work and Rodney would come over on his lawnmower to visit with me a couple times each day. He would tell me how many deer he saw in the field and talk about the woods and the trees. When I would visit his yard he would tell me what the birds were up to and he was so proud of his beautifully mowed lawn. He often told me the flowers I planted were for the Lord to enjoy. "

"My father lives across the street from Rodney. I laughed where his obituary mentions he enjoyed mowing his lawn & everyone else?s! That he did! He was very friendly & always stopped to visit when he saw a crowd across the street. Thoughts & prayers to his family and friends at this difficult time. "
