Dennis Bishop
July 22, 1948 - August 20, 2023

Dennis Bishop, of Antigo, died on August 20, 2023 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. He was 75 years old. He was born on July 22, 1948 in Vincennes, Indiana, a son of the late Virgel and Mildred (Adams) Bishop.

Served in the United States Air Force from November 29, 1966 to November 27, 1970 as a mechanic.

Dennis was employed at Antigo Construction until his retirement in 2003.

He loved sports, golf was his passion. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play hockey, traveling, and the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; five step-children, Steve (Karen) Widder of Bryant, Judy (Mike) Price of Georgia, Craig Widder of Tennessee, Janice (Jack) Webb of Ohio, and Richard Widder of Weston; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Todd Bishop; and three sisters, Carolyn Nonnemacher, Ann Buettner, and Lois Helms.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Rodd, William, and Kent; and sisters, Phyllis Matson, and Ardith "Jane" Pieruski.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
