Genevieve Mary Hayes
June 18, 1930 - September 4, 2023

Genevieve Mary Hayes was born in Queens New York on June 18,1930. Genevieve (Jenny) as she preferred was the youngest of three siblings. Marceline and William her siblings preceded her in death. She has one living child Aleen Hatch.
Jenny lived a very exciting life up until her disability began in 1975.
As a young woman living in Queens, her family decided to sell their home and move to Alaska where she and her family each built their own log home and were able to claim the land if they lived on it for at least three years.
Jenny eventually married Cecil Hayes and they had three children Kenneth, Peter and Aleen. After divorcing Cecil, Jenny did not remarry.
Jenny had a great love of animals, especially cats. She would drive 25 miles each way to visit a local seafood market just to buy her cats fresh seafood. She would feed any animal that she would see outside.
She passed peacefully in her sleep....Love you Mom
