Patrick J. "Rick" Mosher went to his home in Heaven on Friday, October 6, 2023 from metastatic cancer. Patrick was born October 4, 1957 in Merrill to his parents, Charles and Luceil (Zirkle) Mosher. He married Brenda Schuhmacher on July 27, 1996.
Patrick graduated from Antigo High School. He retired from Kolbe Windows and Doors in Wausau after 24 years. He also worked for Jim Spychalla Potato Farm, United Tractor in Chesterton, Indiana, Mole Lake Casino as a security guard, and various forestry jobs.
He enjoyed helping his nephews, Mike Gaines and Joe Mosher, process maple syrup. He also enjoyed doing carpentry around his house, classic cars and trucks, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Mosher; a son, Jeremy Mosher of Mattoon; step-sons, Mathew (Lacy) Krause of Antigo, and Jerremy Krause of Polar; a grandchild, Kylie Krause; six sisters, Phyllis (Kenneth) Woodard of Deckerville, Michigan, Jean Gaines of Valparaiso, Indiana, Mary (Daniel) Zahl of Antigo, Beverly Cunningham of Hayward, Charlene (Leonard) Krzywon of New Ulm, Minnesota, and his twin, Patricia (James) Vair of Antigo; father-in-law, George Schuhmacher of Polar; two brothers-in-law, Blake (Tina) Schuhmacher of Antigo and Pedro Schuhmacher of Polar; sister-in-law, Bridgette (Jason) Boehm of Wausau; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Delphine (Chuck) Hammel; brothers, Phillip (Joyce) Mosher, Wayne Mosher and Charles Mosher; niece, Michele Gaines; mother-in-law, Beverly Schuhmacher; step-mother-in-law, Dolly Schuhmacher; sisters-in-law, Wannetta Messer and Jeannette Schuhmacher; and brother-in-law, Archie Gaines.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 13 at 12 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Dr. David Lovely officiating. Burial will take place in Forestview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Bradley Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Beverly Cunningham and LeRoyer Hospice for coming alongside them while caring for Patrick during his final phase of life.
