Donald Lenzner
July 18, 1938 - October 31, 2023

Donald Fredrick Lenzner, of Antigo, died on October 31, 2023 at Rose Mary Manor in Mattoon under hospice care. He was 85 years old. He was born on July 18, 1938 a son of Willard and Stella (Ritchie) Lenzner. He married Sandra Lacoque on April 22, 1961 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo.

Don was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1956.

He served in the Wisconsin National Guard from 1961 to 1966. He did his basic training in Fort Knox, Kentucky and was called to active duty at Fort Lewis, Washington where his wife and infant son joined him.

Don was employed at Kraft, also known as Antigo Cheese for over 43 years. Over the years he worked in nearly all areas of the plant and was Lead Man in the Packaging Department at the time of his retirement in May of 2002.

Don enjoyed spending summers camping and fishing at Lake Gogebic with his family. Much of his free time was spent deer and bird hunting, ATV riding to explore future hunting spots, and trout, ice, and lake fishing with his son and grandsons. Don enjoyed mornings at McDonalds for coffee and conversation with friends and loved his black lab dogs over the years.

Survivors include his wife of 62 1/2 years, Sandra; son, Jeffrey (Anne) Lenzner of Greenville; daughter, Sherry (Jeff) Aulik of Deerbrook; grandchildren, Katlynn (Romy) Reynebeau of Neenah, Dan (Molly) Lenzner of Kimberly, Callie Aulik of Madison, and Clarissa Aulik of La Crosse; great-grandchildren, Leo, Alivia, August and Penelope

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Matthew Lenzner.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 4, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. George Daniel officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Antigo.
