In loving memory of

Beverly H. Ruggieri
July 5, 1957 - November 3, 2023

Beverly H. Ruggieri (nee Stech), on November 3, 2023, of Somerdale. Age 66.

Devoted wife of Greg Ruggieri. Loving mother of Alissa (Zack Mullin). Sister of Christian R. Stech, Earl Stech, Donald Stech, Diana Ferguson, Leon Stech, Joe Waltz, and Gary Waltz. Daughter of the late Christian Stech, Anna and John Waltz. Also remembered by many loving nieces and nephews, and the many special families of all the kids Bev nurtured over the years.

Beverly worked for JCPenny for 23-years. She also worked for Blackwell's Book Distributors and at the Rainbow Daycare at Our Lady of Grace School. Beverly was able to retire and fulfill her passion and the love of children with child care. Bev was blessed to be able to dedicate her life to kids, from the time she left Rainbow Day Care until just after her diagnosis in June of 2022. Beverly loved providing care for kids and especially loved spending time teaching them numbers, letters, nature, science, and how to be kind and loving. She was referred by many as a "real life" Mary Poppins.

Bev also had an immense love for music, she could often be found at a concert, dancing the whole time. Not only was she an amazing wife, mother, nanny, friend to so many, she was an amazing baker. If you have ever had her cheesecakes you know. Nothing can be put into words here about what an incredible person Bev was. She lived life to the fullest, and she touched so many hearts. We are devastated that she left us too soon.

There will be a visitation from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 9 and from 8:15 am until 9:15 am on Friday, November 10 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Memorial Mass Friday November 10 at 10:00 am at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa's RC Church. Interment private at the request of the family.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Beverly's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 www.stjude.org 800-822-6344 or Children's Hospital of Philadelphia; PO Box 781352 Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352 https://give2.chop.edu/ 267-426-5332
