In loving memory of

Larry Glendon Sibley

His journey began on January 20, 1930, in Ringgold, LA. Born to John S. Sibley and Minnie E. Sibley, Glen grew up with his siblings, Carolyn and Janelle, now deceased.

Glen lived a full and meaningful life, dedicated to God, family, and church. He was a faithful leader, loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. As a teacher and missionary, he shared his knowledge and faith with many different individuals over a 50+ year career

Glen was dedicated to lifelong learning. He earned a Bachelors degree at Union College, and two Masters degrees at the University of Nebraska and Andrews University. But, Glen didn't confine his teaching and learning to the classroom. He was an avid reader who was happy to share many interesting stories with students, family and friends. He loved to travel and to take photographs of the unique birds and animals wherever he was.

Glen is survived by his loving wife, Lovice 'Irene' Sibley. They had 73 years together and throughout those years their special relationship provided a positive example of unconditional love and service!

Glen is also survived by a daughter, Rmeriang Sibley of Palau; two grandchildren, Duke and Madel; and four great grandchildren, Jada, Marley. Eli, and Tia. Other family members include two nieces, Marcy and Peggy; a nephew, Terry; a great niece, Tonya; and a brother-in-law, Vincent. In addition, Henry Johnson was a dear friend who supported both Glen and Irene throughout the last few years of his life.
Glen is deeply missed but he will be forever in our hearts and memories.
