"Aunt Joan was the mindedness person. Her heart was so big. I will remember her kindness and smile. I never knew her birth name was Angela but she surely was an Angel. RIP with those awaiting you ?"

Donna Libertella Matthews wrote on Nov 13, 2023:

"Aunt Joan was my mom's best friend growing up, her maid of honor at her wedding, and my godmother. She was oh so sweet, kind, and gentle, and best of all, she was blessed with great faith. That faith was a source of inspiration to me throughout my life and will continue to be so. Aunt Joan will be missed on earth, but it's a sure thing she is in Heaven, hopefully doing cartwheels across the clouds with my mom! Sending love and prayers to all the Albano family..."

Lynn McCausland wrote on Nov 13, 2023:

"My sincere condolences to the entire Albano family on the loss of sweet Joan. She was a great lady and loved by all who knew her. I hired her many years ago to work in the clerical pool at Virtua and there she stayed for many years doing a wonderful job ,after she was hired at Voorhees. Our children grew up together and she was my friend. So blessed to have known her. May she Rest in Peace. Heaven has gained another Angel. "

Nick Albano wrote on Nov 11, 2023:

"Condolences to the family. My Aunt Joan was also my God Mother who set a wonderful example for me and all who knew her. She was the one person (aside from my mother) who sent me a birthday card every year! Love you Aunt Joan!"

Teresa Libertella Fitzgerald wrote on Nov 10, 2023:

"'Aunt Joan' was a constant part of my formative years, a security during my teenage ones, and a source of contentment throughout my adult years. She was a lifelong friend of my mom's and our two families were woven together as a result of that friendship. What a blessing that was for us as kids and what a gift it continues to be today! Mrs. Albano had a knack for making you feel welcome and important every time you saw her. She would share a smile, a laugh, and heart-warming conversation, always asking for updates about those who matter most to you. Her accommodating spirit, gentle nature, and desire to try new things were examples to me of how willingness and simplicity bring happiness to life. I am sorry to see her go, but I know that her large, loving family will keep her spirit alive through the lessons she shared so naturally with them. I also know that Heaven is a little brighter now. Enjoy eternity dancing with the angels, Aunt Joan! "
