John J. Monteleon, on November 8, 2023, of Audubon Park. Age 79.

Beloved husband of Janet Monteleon (nee Ledrich). Loving father of Kim Pfefferle (Bill) and Joseph Monteleon (Gabrielle). Poppy of Paige, Joey (Jenn), Matthew (Megan), Alexis (Anthony), Lexi (Brandon), and Madison. Great grandfather of Armani and Anthony Jr. Brother of Anthony DeAntonis (Lisa) and Arlene Lepore (Michael). Brother-in-law of Eileen DeLeonardis (Lou). Also remembered by nieces and nephews.

John was the president of the Audubon Park Board of Trustees. John started his career by owning his own Beauty Salon, The House of Elegance. He was also a drummer in numerous local bands. He transitioned to the construction business with Lazar and Sons Construction Company and then retired from ICP Inc. after working for his boss and dear friend Joe Monteleone. In his free time, John loved to fish and go to the casino. John's family was everything to him, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Tuesday November 14 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Interment at New St. Mary's Cemetery.

"I had the pleasure of working with John when he was with ICP and many a morning would stop in to see him with a bag full of hot pretzels . Afternoons would sometimes mean stopping in for a shot of scotch. I only know John for a short time but he was a great family man and loved his grand children very much. Rest in peace my friend"
