William D. Stillman
April 13, 1931 - November 9, 2023

William "Bill" Stillman passed away on November 9, 2023, at age 92.

Loving father of Daniel Sheeran (Sherry), Debra Medvedik, Casey Stillman, Nichole Parks (Richard), Paige Stocker (Brian). Grandfather to nine grandchildren. Brother to Ruth and Joan (Harry). Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents William and Florence (nee Beitzel) Stillman and siblings Russell "Jackie", Dorothy, Florence, Thelma, Robert "Bobby", Jay, and Ethel.

Bill was born in Philadelphia before moving to South Jersey his Junior year of high school. Bill was a 1949 Graduate of Haddon Heights High School and a lifelong resident of Bellmawr.

He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was a Prudential Insurance Agent for the better part of forty years.

His most notable ability was being able to get things for free. He could convince almost anyone to do things for him at little to no charge. He was all about getting a 'good deal'.
Bill spent his retirement doing endless home renovations and landscaping upgrades and he took pride in his gardening.

He enjoyed his afternoons at the Gateway Diner spending hours nursing a cup of tea and talking with friends and former coworkers. He saved ample time for all his lady friends throughout the years.

Bill loved to walk for exercise and worked daily to stay fit. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. He especially enjoyed his time with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The highlight of his nights were spent sharing a meal with family and friends. He enjoyed most nights at his sister Ethel's house for dinner surrounded by his family, nursing a cup of tea and talking for hours.

Bill spent his final days at the Shady Lane Home in Clarksboro, NJ where the staff cared for "Pop" like family and catered to his every want and need. He was loved by so many. His children were by his side at his passing.

There will be a viewing from 11:00am until 12:00pm on Monday, November 20th at the GARDENER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery.
