Hans Werner Albrecht, 83, of Myakka City, Florida, passed away from his time here on earth on November 7, 2023, at his home in Winding Creek. We are comforted and confident, as he was in his faith, knowing that he is now basking in Christ's presence.
Hans was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to Hans and Milly Albrecht on August 12, 1940. He attended West Springfield High School in Massachusetts, graduating in 1958 and went on to study Animal Husbandry at Oklahoma State University.
After moving to Florida, he founded "Hans Albrecht Painting and Stuff", installing / repairing / finishing sheet rock as well as painting interior and exterior surfaces and trim for both commercial and residential new construction and remodel projects.
He was an avid walker and enjoyed watching the deer and wild turkeys each evening from the front porch, as they would come to eat corn that magically appeared along the driveway.
Hans is survived by his wife, Linda - sister, Lisa - children, Suzi and Lisa - grandchildren, Rick , Jessica and David - great-grandchildren, Makiyah and Cora and nephews, Kurt, Kevin and Brendan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hans and Milly - brother, Peter and niece Heidi.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to "Tidewell Hospice" for their assistance with Hans' final days.
