Robert C. Riemer Sr. "Bob", age 81, of Barrington, New Jersey passed away on November 17th, 2023. Bob was an incredible father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be missed by all.
Bob was born on July 4th, 1942 in Stratford, New Jersey to Charles Riemer and Mamie Riemer (Sacco) and grew up in West Berlin. In April of 1963 Bob married his beloved late wife, Gail Riemer (nee Bresch) and they raised their family in Barrington, New Jersey. Together Bob and Gail had two loving sons, Robert C. Riemer Jr. and Eric C. Riemer. In addition to his sons, Bob had two daughter-in laws, Cynthia Riemer (nee Giacoppo) and the late Annamarie Riemer (nee McDevitt). Bob was also a proud grandfather and great grandfather of Robert C. Riemer III, (Lisa Riemer), Christa Riemer (Brian Ertl), Christian Riemer, Devyn Riemer, Riley Ertl and Jace Riemer.
Bob retired from Weyerhaeuser where he worked for over 40 years. Bob lived his life to the fullest by doing all the things that brought him happiness. Bob enjoyed sun tanning, big wheel biking and fishing at Audubon Lake. In addition to his lake enjoyment, he loved casinos, car shows and his door stoppers collection. All the people that knew Bob, knew how much he loved to drive around in his PT Cruiser, watch his Soap operas and enjoy a glass of Old Granddad or crown royal. Most of all, Bob loved attending all his grandkids' activities and spending time with his family.
There will be a visitation on Saturday November 25, 2023 from 10 to 11am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 300 E Kings Hwy, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035. Memorial Mass 11am. Luncheon to follow.
