Loren Doucette
April 1, 1939 - December 12, 2023

Loren Doucette, of Antigo, passed away December 12, 2023 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 84 years old. He was born in Antigo on April 1, 1939, a son of the late Glen and Mae (Now) Doucette. He was the middle child with six sisters and six brothers.

He owned and operated his own tire related business for ten years in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Loren enjoyed weekend getaways with Peg and liked getting together with family for almost any reason at all. Some of his favorite times were snowmobile outings that included cook-outs in the woods. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years and especially enjoyed catching bluegills on the fly rod.

Loren is survived by his children Mark (Karen) Doucette of Ringle and Gina (Pete) Schroeder of Antigo; son-in-law, Scott Wright of Deerbrook; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Judy (Robert) Warren, Faye Fleischman and Jane Hoerman, all of Antigo; three brothers, Maurice Doucette of Sturgeon Bay, Dale (Shelley) Doucette of Antigo and Douglas (Carolyn) Doucette of Antigo; two sisters-in-law, Emily Doucette and Patricia Doucette, both of Antigo; three brothers-in-law, Paul (Audrey) Sikora of Wittenberg, Tom (Bev) Sikora of Neva, and Richard (Sharon) Sikora of Clearwater, Florida.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by death by his son, Steven; daughter, Lori; three sisters, Beverly Edgeton, Vergie Gerloch, and Marlene Shebuski; and three brothers, Gerald Doucette, Merle Doucette, and Patrick Doucette. He is also preceded in death by seven brothers-in-law, Donald Fleischman, Jim Edgeton, Jerry Hoerman, William Shebuski, James Sikora, Edward Sikora, and Charles Sikora; and two sisters-in-law, Shirley Doucette, Betty Doucette.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 19 at 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for the care they gave to Loren.
