In loving memory of

Joseph F Riley
June 8, 1932 - December 28, 2023

Joseph F. Riley was born June 8,1932 in Queens, NY, to parents Noman & Winnefred Riley. He grew up in College Point and he was the fourth of six children, two other brothers, William and James, and three sisters, Joan, Doris, and Elaine.

Joe enlisted and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Alaska for several years.

After his time in the service, he worked for the NY transit system for 10 years and was a franchise owner in Florida for Wise Potato Chips and Murray Cookies for years after that.

They welcomed their only child Michael in May of 1975. Joe and his family moved from New York to Florida in 1980 and spent decades in Florida before eventually moving to Iowa and South Carolina with his son's family. He and Fay eventually moved back to Florida, settling in Sarasota and enjoying a peaceful life.

He went to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ peacefully in his sleep.

Joe was a great husband and father; he believed in honest hard work, kindness to others, whether human or animal,

and had a tremendous, caring heart; He will always be loved and missed.

Joe is survived by his wife Fay; son Michael and wife Jeannette; grandchildren Sienna Riley, Dustin Graham and wife Cassidy, Wendy
Graham, and sisters; Elaine Crowley and Joan Laches and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Winnefred, brothers William and James Riley, and sister Doris Forest.

Be at peace Dad. We love you always.
