MUSCATINE, Iowa - Daryle L. 'Buck' Clayton, 56, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.

Buck was born on October 28, 1967, in Muscatine, the son of John Clayton and Fanny Wheeler McConahay. He married Carol Snyder.

He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, cooking, being a jokester, and spending time with his family.

Buck is survived by his wife, Carol; stepson, Monte Trevizo; honorary daughter, Lacy Foster; six grandchildren, Alexis, Tucker, Odin, Skylar, Tanner, and Skai; mother, Fanny McConahay; three siblings, Melissa Turner and husband, Earl, Grace Cozad, and Robin Brown and husband, Jim; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Clayton; stepson, Nathan Phillips; grandson, Logan Foster; and grandparents, Chester and Marie Wheeler.
