"Where do we begin? Mr. Bruce has been a loyal customer of ours for over a decade. It's been so long that I felt we had officially hit the, dare I say it, Friendship Mark. We always knew that picking up and dropping off his vehicle or even placing a reminder call, came with a joke and a barrel of laughter. Adam always knew his quips and exactly how he wanted his vehicle done. All I would hear is "Bruce doesn't like or Bruce likes" and I knew to follow those instructions to the letter. I said to Adam yesterday that I don't think we've ever seen Mr. Bruce with shoes on. It was just a random thought among many we've had about Bruce since learning of his passing this week. Your smile, your humor, and your joy will definitely be missed. Thank you for being such a bright spot in a sometimes gloomy world. "

"To Bruce's wife and family, My heartfelt sympathies to each of you on the deep loss of your beloved husband, dad, etc. Bruce sold me 1 of my many vehicles over the decades. His dad taught me how to issue overdimention/overweight permits for the IOWA DOT for the trucking industry when I worked full-time as a highway maintenance secretary! That was quite the experience I'd rather not remember. I saw and visited Bruce at the Fareway N. store or parking lot this past year and got caught up on his life/surgeries, etc. RIP BRUCE as you join your folks and other loved ones/friends. May God comfort each of you now and in the days, months, and years ahead. No one can take the wonderful memories in your heart and mind. If you have videos or Bruce on audio, play them often when you miss Bruce the most; it helps, I know 1st hand. Betty Gordon, Ames "
