Anthony M. Cieri
September 8, 1944 - January 22, 2024

Anthony M. Cieri, of Sewell, passed away on January 22, 2024. Age 79. Beloved husband of Katherine (nee DeBellis) for 58 years. Devoted father of Cynthia Barcelone, Gregory Cieri (Danielle), and Christopher Cieri (Elizabeth). Loving grandfather of Haydn, Joseph, Isabel, Sofia, Francesca, Chase, Gabriella, and Zooey. Great-Grandfather of Mila. Cherished Uncle of Michael Cieri (Theresa) and Dennis Cieri (Gloria). Preceded in death by his parents Alessandro and Adelaide Cieri and brother Michael Cieri (Josephine).

Tony was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and a season ticket holder for a number of years. Supporting his team brought him great excitement and camaraderie with fellow fans. He also had a green thumb and had great pleasure tending to his garden. Tony had many fond memories that were made during his summers at the beach in Wildwood Crest with his family. Exploring new destinations was another of Tony's joys, as he was on many journeys exploring diverse cultures and experiences throughout the world, thanks to his long and successful career in the Department of Defense. Tony's dedication and hard work were evident both in his professional and personal life. He took pride in his accomplishments and was thrilled to have his achievements recognized in the book "Business @ The Speed of Thought". Throughout his years of service, Tony became a Shellback, an honor bestowed upon individuals who sailed across the equator. His adventurous spirit and eagerness to explore different regions of the world turned into lifelong memories.

Tony's legacy will live on through his family, friends, and the memories they shared with him. He will forever be remembered as a hardworking, loving, and adventurous individual who placed his family above all else.

There will be a viewing, Friday January 26, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:45am at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes RC Church in Blackwood. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 Noon. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA.
