Janice Marie Cunningham
July 29, 1949 - February 2, 2024

Janice Marie Cunningham, age 74 of Bryant passed away peacefully after a 9-year battle with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). She was surrounded by her husband and 3 daughters on February 2, 2024 at Rosalia Gardens under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was born on July 29, 1949 in Rhinelander, a daughter of Joseph and Betty (Verville) LaBelle. She married David Cunningham on April 9, 2005 at St. John Lutheran Church in Polar.

She was a 1967 graduate of Stambaugh High School in Stambaugh, Michigan. Janice worked for multiple accounting firms and retired from the Langlade County Finance Department in 2015.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Polar and recently Calvary Lutheran Church in Antigo. Janice enjoyed going for walks, country line dancing, and reading. She loved flower gardening and watching the birds. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and many friends.

Survivors include her husband, David; daughters, Christy Schmidt of Antigo, Debbie (James) Francois of Tomahawk, and Lisa Petrowski (significant other, Sheldon Damos) of Antigo; stepsons, William (Glenda) Cunningham of Antigo and Mark (Mauriah) Cunningham of Appleton; grandchildren, Cody (Kallie) Schmidt, Jacob Schmidt, Brandon Wild, Wren Wild, Alysson (Collin) Burkhardt, Zachary Mildenberger, Gretchen Francois, Gracie Francois, Samantha Malone, Chelsey Gish, Justin Cunningham, Tayah Cunningham, Kylie Cunningham, and Anyissa Cunningham; great-grandchildren, Emilia, Finley, Daniel, Preston, Addison and Aiden; sisters, Joetta Grieg (John Ruzzicone) of Caspian, MI and Joanne Clay of Hastings, MN. Janice is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Judy Maki.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 9, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Jennifer Sosinski officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. and Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff of Rosalia Gardens and LeRoyer Hospice, Physical Therapist Amanda, as well as the love and care provided by Annie and Hannah while she was at home.
