Brent Parker David, Sr.
May 26, 1935 - February 4, 2024

Brent Parker David Sr., 88, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on February 4, 2024, at his home on Siesta Key.

Brent was born in Kenilworth, NJ to Margaret and Charles David on May 26, 1935. He went to high school at Jonathan Dayton Regional High School and graduated in 1953. After graduation, he served in the US Navy. He worked in law enforcement for the Borough of Kenilworth, NJ for 35 years retiring as Chief of Police in 1995. He was a member of the Union Country, NJ Chiefs of Police Association and a recipient of the PBA Local 135 Gold Card. He was a docent at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium in Sarasota. Brent loved cruising and spending time with his three granddaughters. He was involved with the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Brent is survived by his wife of 67 years Carol (Reynolds), sons Mark, Gregg, Brent and Brian (Andrea), granddaughters Kelsey, Sydney and Ryley, great grandson Cayden, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Charles and Margaret (Infantino), brothers Charles and Ronald, and sister Vivian.

A memorial service in New Jersey is being planned for a future date.
