Beloved husband of the late Genevieve E. Gillespie. Devoted father of Genevieve M. Matthis (Gary), James L. Gillespie Jr. (Meredith) and the late Duane M. Gillespie. Grandfather of 11 grandchildren. Great grandfather to 9 great grandchildren. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
