Claire J. Martinez, 90, of Newport, RI, died on February 7, 2024.
Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (O'Brien) Martinez.
Claire was a graduate of Newbury College in Brookline, MA, and Emmerson College in Boston.
She had worked as a secretary for Stone and Webster for fourteen years.
While living in the Boston area, she was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Holliston, MA.
Claire is survived by her nieces and nephews.
Claire was the sister of the late Raylene Bento, Carole Glazier and Norma Tully
Graveside services will be held, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 1:00pm in Portsmouth Cemetery, Turnpike Avenue, Portsmouth, RI.
