SALTER, EDWARD, 69, of Blackwood/Glendora NJ, passed away on February 17, 2024.
Predeceased by his parents Edward and Anne. His daughter Natalie in 1981. Eddie is survived by his children, Michael (Jackie), Stephen, Jennifer, his grandchildren, Aidan, Alanna, Ava, and his five sisters, Carol (Bob), Lillian (Ed), Donna, Denise (Anthony) and Karen (Stephen, deceased 1993), and his nieces and nephews, Jill, DJ (Ashley), Kim (Ron), Jamie (Julie), Stephanie, Matthew, and Anthony, and 10 grand-nieces and nephews as well as many other family and friends.

Eddie was raised in Voorhees, NJ and attended Eastern High School where he lettered in baseball. He loved anything sports related. He played men's softball into his 40s until he sprained his ankle sliding into 3rd, was active in Glendora Little League for 10+ years and enjoyed playing golf and going to the OBX with his family. Later in life, when not playing he enjoyed watching anything sports, including the Phillies, March Madness, golf, and football. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and the activities they loved. If not watching sports he enjoyed watching Seinfeld. Eddie enjoyed music and going to concerts as well as cars.

Professionally, Ed worked for INA/Cigna followed by Duncanson & Holt in Insurance then shifting to Property Management later in life. Ed excelled at building relationships and navigating clients. Upon retirement, he decided to drive for Uber, where to the surprise of his family, he had a five-star rating. Tributes

Edward and Ann Ferruggia wrote on Feb 22, 2024:

"Ed Salter was the bedrock of the Sturbridge Lakes neighborhood of 728 homes for over 20 years as our property manager. We depended on Ed for everything and during this time he became a dear friend to me and my wife, Ann. Ed enjoyed attending a celebrity convention with his friends, and when the band would hold a music trivia contest, Ed always won, because Ed Salter knew absolutely everything about music, which he loved. Ed was an expert on Voorhees Township, its history and the region, including the city of Philadelphia. He loved the classic tv shows, he knew a lot about sports, he did not like Andy Reid. Ed was the kind of person who could talk to anyone, including complete strangers, because he had the common touch. He also loved buying and fixing up cars. Ed was a "Hale fellow, well met" someone you could talk to about anything. As much as Ed was a fun guy, he was totally devoted to his children and family, for whom he had a deep love. There are too many great stories involving Ed to recount here, he touched many people and is still with us in fond memories. "
