In loving memory of

Mary Margaret Rice
April 4, 1961 - March 9, 2024

Mary Margaret Rice, age 62, of Shoreline, Washington, passed away on March 9, 2024. She was born on April 4, 1961, in South Bend, Indiana.

Mary had a successful career for many years, starting at Bayer Corporation, and later working at Ranyer USA for the past 8 years in Product Management, where she supported the pharmaceutical sales force.

She graduated from LaSalle High School in the class of '79 and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in History from Oklahoma Christian University in 1983.

Mary worshipped at Northwest Church in Seattle for 27 years and was dedicated to her church, its Children's Ministry, and her faith.

In her free time, Mary enjoyed being part of the worship team, playing golf, traveling, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her beloved family and her "sister 6".

Mary was quick witted, funny, deeply devoted to her family and friends. Mary faced cancer with much strength, and triumphed through her discomfort and pain. She stood firm in her faith, always looking to her Lord Jesus for her strength and perseverance. She has a new body now, one free from cancer and its ravages.

She is survived by her mother, Joann Rice of Edmond, Oklahoma, sisters Sue Gaub (Alban) of Edmond, Ok, Alice Altizer (David) of Concord, California, and brothers Amos Rice Jr. (Kara) of Atlanta, Georgia, Steve Rice (Catherine) of Marshall, Missouri, her nephew Garry Rice Jr. South Bend , Indiana, and many other nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her father Amos Rice Sr., sister Grace Ann Rice, and brothers Dominic Rice and Garry Rice Sr.
