Nicholas F. Kush
September 17, 1945 - April 4, 2024

Nicholas F. Kush, 78, of Runnemede, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2024, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Laurie Kush (nee Tessitore). Devoted father of Steve, Stacey, Nicholas, Jason (Karyn), and Jenifer Tompkins (Doug). Loving grandfather of Alex (Mary), Brian, Michael, Sophia, Olivia, Doug Jr., and Eilana. Great grandfather of Lillian and Edith. Dear brother of Mary "Sissy" Green. Also survived by his cousin and best friend, Tommy Flynn, beloved dogs Marty and Joey, as well as numerous friends and many extended family members.

Prior to Nick's retirement, he was a foreman for Eastern Records in Runnemede then, Superior Records in Somerdale, NJ. He retired after 20 plus years as head shipper/receiver from WonderBread/Hostess Depot in Bellmawr, NJ where he was with Teamsters Local 676. He spent his retirement years working in the Gloucester Township Public Schools as a member of the Gloucester Township Support Professional Union. Nick also ran for Assembly in the fifth district special election, as well as Freeholder. He was known for his outgoing personality, making friends everywhere he went. He loved cracking jokes and could always be found with a Bud Light in his hand while gardening, listening to music and spending time outdoors. When Nick wasn't outdoors, he could be found in his garage working on his '75 Corvette Stingray, which he enjoyed driving around town with the tops off. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 11am to 1pm. A memorial service will begin at 1pm. Interment is private at the request of the family.

A celebration of his life will be held at The Spread Eagle Inn, Mount Ephraim, immediately following services.
