Barbara Frink-Alsteen
August 27, 1931 - April 23, 2024

Barbara G. Frink-Alsteen, of Antigo, passed away on April 23, 2024 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was 92 years old. She was born on August 27, 1931 in Antigo, a daughter of Earl and Ruth (Allen) Rosio. She married Darrell Frink on June 30, 1948 in Antigo. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1976. She married Raymond Alsteen in June of 2002. He preceded her in death on October 20, 2023.

She attended Antigo High School. Barbara spent the majority of her life raising her eight children and later worked for Sheldon's Inc. tying flies and Lee's SuperValue in the bakery. While living in Arizona for five years she worked for the Little Plant Company with her daughter, Gene.

Barbara was a woman who was not afraid of living. She went parasailing in Florida on her 80th birthday and skydiving in Arizona with two of her grandchildren, Tori and Alexus, when she was 81. Barbara's greatest love was gardening and being a devoted mother and grandmother.

Survivors include six daughters, Judith Powell of Antigo, Joan (Donald) Eldridge of Antigo, Gene (Frank) Klarer of Tolleson, AZ, Diane Kassler of Antigo, Debra (Keith) Alsteen of Deerbrook, and Wendy (Lance) Van Price of Antigo; two sons, Daniel (Cynthia) Frink of Deerbrook and David (Joy) Frink of Ash Fork, AZ; 24 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Daniel (JoAnne) Rosio of Antigo; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Steve Kassler; grandchildren, Alexandria Radtke and Shay Pendleton; great-grandchildren, Felicia Minard, Jake Hoernke, and Jered Pendleton; great-great-grandchild, Cora Jacobs; sisters, Ruth Hintz and Sally Michalak; and brother, Mike Rosio.

Following Barbara's wishes, no services will be held.
