Arlene Rogers Wayne, born on January 1, 1938, departed from this world on April 20,2024, following her beloved husband, John H. Wayne, who preceded her in death.

Arlene was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, whose kindness and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Arlene exemplified grace and resilience, facing challenges with unwavering strength and a gentle spirit. She was a beacon of love and compassion, always sharing her beautiful smile and ready to lend a listening ear to those in need.

Arlene's greatest joy came from her family. She is proceeded in death by her husband John H. Wayne. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, forever etched in the hearts of her children John, Jr. (Hollie), Mark (Lauren), Michelle (Sunshine) (Herb) and Matthew; her grandchildren Daniel, Luke, Josh, Ilana, Avery and Anna and her sister Carol Cavanaugh, and her brothers Bill and Bob Rogers and her extended family. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she has touched and the memories shared in her honor.

In addition to her role as a devoted wife and mother, Arlene was known for her passion for singing, bowling, skiing, and her deep commitment to church life. Her captivating voice filled the halls with melodies that lifted spirits and brought joy to all who heard her sing.

She was also a formidable force on the bowling lanes, where her skill and competitive spirit earned her admiration from friends and opponents alike. Arlene's unwavering faith and dedication to her church community at Almonesson United Methodist Church were evident in all aspects of her life, as she served with compassion and devotion, enriching the lives of those around her.

Her zest for life and contagious laughter brightened the darkest of days, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though she may be physically absent, Arlene's spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her presence. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the incredible life she lived and the profound impact she had on the world around her.

Arlene Rogers Wayne will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved husband, John, in the arms of the angels.

There will be a viewing from 9am until 10am on Friday, May 3 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service 10am at the funeral home. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to be made to the Almonesson United Methodist Church, Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Melanoma Research Foundation, or the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Arlene's memory.
