Joseph A. Monforto
June 21, 1949 - April 27, 2024

Joseph A. Monforto Jr., age 74, passed away on Saturday April 27, 2024, after a very sudden decline in his health. He was born in Philadelphia to Joseph and Rita (Yecco).He proudly served in the Air National Guard for 18 years as a cook. In his early years, Joe worked as a DJ on Philadelphia's magic WMGK. Recently, Joe worked as a material handler for PPG. He is survived by his wife Cheryl (Kellem) of 52 years, his daughter Janeen (Samuel) Dipietro, his son Joseph A. Monforto III (Jamie), his siblings Don (Kathleen), John (Debbie), Dona (Doug), his two grandsons, Samuel and Zachary, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his two precious Cats Sophie and Chloe. He is pre-deceased by his parents and his brother Michael (Mary). Joe enjoyed fast cars, oldies music, and food. Joe was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan, music and animal lover.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Joe touched are invited to the viewing from 10:00am until 12:00pm Saturday, May 4th at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service 12:00pm at the funeral home.
