Betty Ann Fuchs

Betty Ann Fuchs, age 94 of Antigo, died on May 9, 2024 at The Bay at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on January 6, 1930 in Antigo, a daughter of Joseph and Ruth (Drake) Strasser. She married Raymond Fuchs on June 12, 1948 at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2002.
She was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1948.
Betty dairy farmed with her husband Ray for many years. She was also a waitress at Uneeda Lunch in Antigo for 18 years.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and working on puzzles.
Betty and Ray were close friends with Bob Dahms for many years and he became like a son to them and was able to help care for Betty in her later years.
She is survived by close friends, Bob (Judy) Dahms and Bob's children, Bobbie (Danny) Bastle, Becky (Tracy) Tatro, Ben (Amy) Dahms and Bridget Dahms.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mable Matuszewski
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 15, at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo with Rev. Charles Hoffmann and Rev George Daniel officiating.
Entombment will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 15, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church in Hoffmann Hall.
