In loving memory of

Jackson Leland Fox Jr
March 31, 1939 - June 17, 2024

Jackson Leland Fox, Jr., beloved father and grandfather, scientist and attorney, passed away on June 17, 2024.

Jack was born in Seaford, Delaware, in 1939. Jack loved the sun and surf and bestowed his passions to subsequent generations through his intellect and humorous wit, teaching his three kids to love animals and the outdoors. Jack could fix anything and figure anything out. He did not give up. Jack's kindness was matched only by his intelligence and grit. Jack was a lifelong learner and never stopped his quest for knowledge.

He attained a PhD in Environmental Health and taught as a Professor at the University of Florida. Jack later attained his Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) and passed the bar. His professional pursuits culminated in his position as Regional Counsel for the US Environmental Protection Agency, Region 10 (Seattle) where he had many friends and esteemed colleagues.

Jack is survived by his life partner, Gotha "Niki" F. Boyd, and by his sister, Fredericka Lucia "Ricky" Fox of Destin, FL, his son, Jackson Leland "Lee" Fox, III, and his wife, Carol, of Springfield, VA, his daughter, Nancy Fox Nickless, and her husband, Paul, of Centennial, CO, and his daughter Katherine Fox Caso, and her husband, Anthony Caso, Esq. He was also very proud of his six grandchildren, Jacob, Luke, Natalie, Nathan, Anthony III, and Jack. We are all blessed to have known him.
