"Aunt Lu was my mom's oldest sister of five kids. i was her nephew. I promised her husband ,uncle Nick, that I would look after her when he passed. I did my best to take care of her home so she wouldn't have to worry about hiring contractors. She was funny, kind and always thinking of the other person. I was glad that my 10yo son Leo, got to know her. She will be missed. I love you Aunt Lu. goodbye. Joseph."

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lucia "Lucy" Donzuso (Roselli) on July 6, 2024. She was 97 years old.
Born on November 5, 1926 in Philadelphia, Lucy lived a full and vibrant life. She was the loving wife of Nicholas T. Donzuso, who predeceased her. Together, they raised a son, Nicholas Donzuso, who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her parents, Joseph Roselli and Elisa Roselli Coluccio, her brother, Michael Rodgers, and sister, Josephine Maturo Roselli.
Lucy is survived by her daughter in law, Donna Donzuso, her grandsons Nicholas Donzuso (Christine) and Michael Donzuso (Jennifer) and her 5 great grandchildren Jordyn, Aubrey, Camryn, Christian, and Austin. She is also survived by her sisters Antoinette McGoldrick Roselli and Mary Ann Verna Roselli and by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Lucy was a devoted homemaker, who took great pride in caring for her family. She was an exceptional cook known for her gravy and Sunday dinners. Lucy was a devout Catholic who enjoyed attending mass. She also enjoyed going to the local senior center for crafting, exercising, and socializing.
The funeral service and celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 12th at 11am at Gardner Funeral Home in Runnemede, NJ.
