Mary Ann S. Kuhr
September 18, 1940 - July 28, 2024

Mary Ann S. Kuhr , of Antigo, died on July 28, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 83 years old. She was born on September 18, 1940 in Town of Norwood, a daughter of Henry and Marie (Meidl) Waldvogel. She married the love of her life, Donald Kuhr, on August 7, 1965 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Phlox. He preceded her in death on November 4, 2018.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1960. She worked at Langlade Memorial Hospital in the laundry department along with helping her parents on the family dairy farm. After marriage, she helped her husband with the operations of their dairy farm.

She was a member of St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church, St. Anne's Society and the Phlox Winter Knights snowmobile club.

Mary Ann loved sewing, quilting, reading romance novels, gardening, canning and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed shooting pool, snowmobiling, and cutting wood with her husband.

Survivors include three daughters, Diane (Wayne) Cummings, Donna (Dave Powell) Kuhr, and Linda (Adam Finn) Vollmar all of Antigo; four grandchildren, Victoria (Luke) Richards, Alex (Barbie) Deacy, Kathryn McKinney, and Logan Vollmar; three great-grandchildren, Autumn Richards, Carly Richards, and Miles Deacy; a sister, Jean (Bill) Beran of Aniwa; and a brother, Joe (Janet) Waldvogel of Antigo.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Norbert Waldvogel and a sister, Helen Waldvogel.

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 7 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church in Phlox with Rev. Vicente Llagas officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 6, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. A parish wake service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
