Daniel Raymond Paff
April 21, 1956 - July 28, 2024

Daniel Raymond Paff, of Antigo, died on July 28, 2024 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. He was 68 years old. He was born on April 21, 1956 in Antigo, a son of the late Wayne and Arlene (Moss) Paff. He married Gueng "Bonnie" Ongraksa on February 2, 1979 at Hawaii.

Mr. Paff retired from United State Army having served from August 28, 1975 to August 31, 1992. He served in Operation Desert Storm with his son, Mike. He received the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal 5th Award, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 bronze stars, Kuwaiti Liberation Medal. Valorous Unit Award, NCO Professional Development Ribbon with number 3, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Bar.

After retirement he returned to Antigo and was a mechanic at Parsons of Antigo and Karl's Auto.

Daniel enjoyed hunting and fishing, NASCAR, working on cars, and going to the casino with his wife.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; a daughter, Bernie (Melissa) Ramirez of Antigo; three sons, Mike (Janet) Ramirez of Honolulu, Paul (Amie) Paff of Antigo, and Wayne (Taylor) Paff of Antigo; grandchildren, Johnny, Ashley, Parker, Larken, Kinsley, Lilyann and Levi; a great-grandson, Theo; a sister, Darlene (Jeff) Manning; sister-in-law, Bobbie Paff; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Paff; and a brother, Denny Paff.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 7 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the City Park East Shelter, 231 Aurora Street, Antigo, WI.
