Lewis Bowman
September 17, 1971 - August 5, 2024

Lewis William Bowman, age 52, of Bryant, died unexpectedly on August 5, 2024 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on September 17, 1971 in Milwaukee, a son of Albert "Butch" and Sandra (Martin) Bowman. He married the love of his life, Kathy Garcia, on February 1, 1991 in Chicago.

Lewis was a graduate of White Lake High School, class of 1989 he continued his education at Triton College in Chicago. He began a long and fulfilling career at Insight FS in 1998, starting as a fuel sales delivery driver and working his way up to Hub Manager. His work was important but more important were the relationships with co-workers and customers.

He was a member of the Wisconsin Propane Association, having traveled to Washington DC to lobby on behalf of the propane industry.

He had a passion for life and building up others, he coached little league and high school baseball, participated in fundraisers for the school booster club, and served on the White Lake School Board for the past 15 years. Lewis enjoyed farming, he shared his passion with his children and numerous nieces and nephews. He enjoyed being involved with 4H, especially the Market Animal Project, the highlight being watching them participate with their animals at the Wisconsin State Fair.

Time with his family and large family gatherings was something he treasured most in life. Lewis made us all strive to be our best selves, he gave insight and was always available to help with anything.

Lewis will be deeply missed by his wife, Kathy; sons, Bradley (Katie) Bowman of North Dakota and Matthew Bowman of Nelson; grandchildren, Saelyr and Tripp Bowman; brother, Kenneth Bowman of White Lake; sister, Kris (Jeff) Doemel of White Lake; father-in-law, Michael (Theresa) Garcia of Brookfield, IL; mother-in-law, Patti St George of White Lake; sisters-in-law, Amy (Eugene) Peters of White Lake, Kim (Chad) Canterna of Chicago, Bonnie Stegall (Justin Emerich) of White Lake, Susan (Zach Dittberner) Weidman of Neenah, Danielle (Adam Wright) Stegall of Oshkosh; nieces and nephews, Katelyn (Connor) Bowman, Debbie (Joe) Nagorski, Daniel Doemel (Cassie), Gary Doemel, Alison (Chris Schewe) and Brice Peters, Gage Steckbauer, Caleb and Jordan Canterna, Kennedy Weidman and Hudson Dittberner, Aaron and Madalynn Wickersheim, and Colt Emerich; great-nieces and nephews, Colton, Carson, Chase, and Cora; and God-son, Conway Schmidt.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is grateful for Lewis's continued gifts through organ donation.
