John Eugene J. Miller left his earthly home in Riverview, FL for his heavenly home on November 6, 2024. He was born on August 7, 1961 in Antigo, WI to the late Beverly M. (Dixon) Miller and Frank T. (Francis) Miller.
Hands down, John was the biggest Packers fan ever!! He loved Jesus, his family, and NASCAR racing. After his NF caused him to retire from his retail career in 2015, he proceeded to live a life of service to others. He became an Ombudsman and Guardian ad Litem, giving a voice to people who needed someone to stand up for their needs. He donated more than 120 gallons of platelets in Florida, not counting his donations in Wisconsin and Colorado. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Riverview.
He was the best uncle to his 11 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews, who will always treasure the time they spent with him.
He is survived by his siblings Janeen (Dennis) Mengert of New Albany, IN, Joe (Amy) Miller of Orlando, FL, J. Kaye Marshall of Riverview, FL, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends Sandy and Wayne Buettner, David, Nina and Ren Buettner, Brian Jones, Tony Koss, Maureen Spaulding Henderson, Dave Baraniak and Patty Rappa who stayed in continual touch as well as all his local friends in Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy M. Miller, a brother, Jay T. Miller, and a niece, Rikki Marshall.
A BBQ celebrating his well-lived life will be held on December 1, 2024 at the Riverview Moose Lodge, 9000 Honeywell Road, Gibsonton, FL 33534.
