Osie C. Cook, Jr., of Bryant, died on November 27, 2024 at Rosalia Gardens under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was 67 years old. He was born on March 22, 1957 in Racine, a son of the late Osie Sr., and Carol (Robinson) Cook.
He was a graduate of Elcho High School, class of 1975. He attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and Cardinal Stritch receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Psychology. In 2003 he received his Master's in Business Administration Organizational Development from Cambridge International University.
He married Deborah Koutnik on March 13, 1992, the couple divorced in 2022.
Osie drove tractor trailer for Schneider and Owned KC's Trucking for 5 years before moving to California in 1999. While in California he worked in the import/export industry for many years retiring as a warehouse consultant.
He was also a member of the Local 139 Operating Engineers and Local 200 Teamsters.
He enjoyed deer hunting, trapping, fishing, and spending time with friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa (Eric) Jorgenson of Merrill; a son, Matthew Cook of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Braeden and Becca Dorn, and Levi, Zachary and Benjamin Cook; step-children, Kathy Koutnik and Jason Koutnik; a brother, Russell (Nancy) Cook of Antigo; and longtime friend, Ron Rine of Bryant.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Fisher.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 5, at 2:30 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
