Vance Monnot, age 53, of Lily, died on December 11, 2024 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee as a result of a massive heart attack while hunting. He was born on April 24, 1971 in Antigo, a son of Yvonne (Charles) Breeden of Wabeno and Larry (Barbara "Maudie") Monnot of Lily. He was a 1989 graduate of Wabeno High School.
Vance married Kerri Anne Rowe on June 29, 1991, at Antigo Methodist Church. She preceded him in death on August 26, 2024.
His work included being a logger, farmer, and an Automotive Technician. He was happiest when he could help others and was a proud business owner of Monnot Service LLC after receiving his associate's degree from Nicolet Technical College in Rhinelander.
Vance enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on classic cars. He loved gardening and his hobby farm. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and beloved dog, Sparky.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two children, Michaela (Brandon) Gilbert of Pickerel and Vance Monnot, Jr. of Antigo; three grandchildren, Cameron, William and Alayna Gilbert; two brothers, Travis (Jessica) Monnot of Wabeno and Tyler (Brittany) Monnot of Post Lake; mother-in-law, Marjory Rowe of Antigo; sisters and brothers-in-law, Corrie (Clint) Kassler of Aniwa, Christopher Rowe of Antigo, and Riley "Andy" (Rhonda) Rowe of Antigo; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Riley Rowe.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 18 at 11:30 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Bo Baumeister officiating. Burial will take place in Lily Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Please know how much I care and I know their are no words that can help get you through this. Larry and Yvonne I know this is going to be one of the hardest things you will go through in your lifetime and please know I am here for you if you need anything. I am really going to miss not seeing him when I am out and about. Michaela and Vance Jr. I am so sorry you lost your Dad and Mom in such a short time. I don't know you but my heart goes out to you and I pray that you stay strong and remember all the good memories you can think about as time goes by.
