In loving memory of

Allison Bonnie Addington (Helm)
April 6, 1970 - March 21, 2025

Allison Bonnie "Allie" Birge, 54, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, in Bellevue, Washington. Born on April 6, 1970, in Seattle, Washington, Allison lived a life defined by unwavering faith, boundless love for her family, and a heart full of kindness.

A devoted Christian, Allison held her relationship with Christ above all else. Her days were often spent reading her Bible and sharing spiritual communion with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. She shared this deep faith with everyone she encountered--especially her children and grandchildren--offering comfort, wisdom, and joy through her words and actions.

Allison was the proud mother of three children: her son Luke and daughters Johanna and Katelyn. Through them, she was blessed with nine cherished grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. She also leaves behind her beloved father, Ronald E. Birge. Allison has now joined her loving mother, Kandy Alice Birge (Johnson), in heaven.

Family was the cornerstone of Allison's world. She devoted herself entirely to nurturing those she loved. Her home was filled with laughter, warmth, and the gentle chaos that comes from a life surrounded by children and grandchildren. Whether sewing keepsakes for loved ones or crafting thoughtful gifts by hand, Allison found joy in giving of herself in every way possible.

Her selflessness extended beyond family as well--she once served as a volunteer firefighter for the Gold Bar Fire Department. Throughout her life she held many jobs and played many roles with strength and determination. Yet she always said that being a mother was the greatest role of all.

Allison had a joyful spirit that shone through in the little things she loved: watching Alex Guarnaschelli battle it out in the kitchen; following Booth and Brennan's journey on Bones; laughing along with Friends; or settling into the comforting embrace of a Hallmark Christmas movie--especially during Christmas in July or the holiday season itself, which she adored most of all.

She also had a deep affection for Ireland and any place where waves met sand. In honor of her memory, her children will be spreading her ashes at these two favorite places--where land meets sea and spirit meets sky.

Those who knew Allison remember her as funny, loving, thoughtful--and above all else--kind. She gave without hesitation, loved without condition, and lived each day guided by faith and grace.

May Allison's memory bring comfort to those who knew her and may her legacy live on through the lives she touched so deeply.
