Rebecca Lemke (62) unexpectedly passed away on April 12, 2025 in Renton, Washington.
She was born in Jackson, Michigan, the only child of Theodore and Eugenia Cusick. She was proceeded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Dale, daughters Sarah and Dana.
Rebecca had a deep love for her extended family, friends and clients. Her professional life started out as a chemist, she then made a career change, becoming an outstanding CPA, specializing in taxation. She was analytical, creative, hardworking, and adventuresome. She loved to make food, clothing, and quilts. She also enjoyed cross-stitching and was adept at many aspects of house construction. She was a people person. She had many adventures from travel (domestic and international), sports, and camping to her love of the arts. She was a fearless, no-nonsense person who brought a smile to any occasion and spread joy to those she met. She led a life of giving, donating her time and resources to many in the community and several charitable causes. She will be deeply missed by all.
Per her wishes she has been cremated and no services will be held. Contributions to charities that help people in need, support the arts or the planet would honor her memory.
